Kwan Wong: Biography
I was first introduced to the Feldenkrais Method at an early music workshop, and I was instantly attracted to this unique process of exploring the way we sense, feel, think and move. At the end of that first lesson I felt three inches taller and was amazed that these subtle movements and seemingly insignificant incremental improvements affected such a dramatic change.
I believe everyone can benefit from the method, as Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais said, he wanted to help people “to make the impossible possible, the possible easy and the easy elegant.” Whether you are recovering from an injury, working with chronic pain, or an athlete who wants to improve his or her performance, the method offers everyone a chance to improve through learning and self-discovery.
I have taught classes and workshops at the San Francisco General Hospital, San Francisco Zen Center, San Francisco Public Library and Emeryville Senior Center.
