Cliff Smyth's Feldenkrais Learning Resources Pages

Introduction

Over the year's I have developed a number of presentations, papers, resource and reading lists on topics of interest for the study of the Feldenkrais Method. Often these resources have only been available to those at the actual presentation or workshop. So I thought I would create a place where there can be accessed on a continuing basis for Feldenkrais teachers, trainees and other interested people. I hope that they will be of interest and use for your study and learning.

The first two topics covered here are about writing Feldenkrais case studies and case study research, and about the idea of 'thinking' in relation to the Feldenkrais Method: 'Thinking Through Moving'.

In the future I hope to add material on topics such as writing and the Feldenkrais Method, the sociology of the body and experiential learning.

Other on-line resources of interest include:

  • The IFF's Continuous Learning Booket - with lot of ideas and activities for self-study and study group activities. (Download from IFF Distriction Center website for free (click on 'Professional Materials' menu, select 'Special On-Line' publications).
  • The IFF also publishes a current Research list for the Feldenkrais Method.
Please contact me via this website if you have any questions or would like to discuss this material.

All the best, Cliff Smyth.
